This is a type of wild hedge that is very plentiful in our area. Lightly stained and lacquer coated. This

This staff is 65 inches in length. The top is slightly angled with a subtle swirl . Stained and lacquered .

This walking-stick is 61 inches in length. Photos show stick from top to bottom. This is very handsome
slightly gnarled walking stick that has beautiful black splotches that were found as I sanded away the bark. I
thought they lent a lot of character to the peice, so I didn't remove them completely. Four coats of lacquer
really bring out the deep tones in the wood. Price $25

THIS piece is not available. It is my first walking stick. It is carved from a pruned limb of my granny's
crepe myrtle tree. I used this staff for a couple years before it was set upon me to show what was
hidden in the wood. Most of the other sticks and staffs you see here will not be as elaborate as my
first, but there will be others done with similar if not better detail. Each walking stick or staff is
unique in its own way,I have several that are once in a lifetime finds.I have one in particular that
while walking near the hollow I felt something pulling me deeper into the woods. I walked letting the
almost panicky sensation guide me ,after about 50 yrds it stopped.I stood there a minute thinking I
must be going mad. I turned to head back and there it was, a collectors dream. Hope to have it
shown soon .Many more are quietly whispering their identity to me and bidding me to reveal what is
hidden beneath the surface. If you are a collector these will be the ones to watch for.
